Denmark is represented at Foodex these days in Tokyo and the Danish florist Nicolai Bergmann delivers beautiful flowers for the Denmark pavillon. Flowers and nice organic food products seem to be excellent pairing to the selective Japanese customers.

For the first time Aurion will visit Japan to present the selective Japanese people to rye flour and sourdough. This is namely a trend going on in Japan these years, many bakery shops have dark bread and rye bread and the open faced Danish sandwiches are introduced many places.

Danish organic companies will yet another year fare to FOODEX JAPAN 2026 and inspire the organic agenda with excellence and exclusivity under the umbrella of this export push organized by Bio Aus Dänemark and Danish Industry.

In 2024 the Plant-based Food Grant co-financed our export endavours bringing organic companies to Asia’ largest B2B food fair. The purpose of the project is to create an enterance for Danish companies that produce processed organic plant-based foods to Japanese markets by pushing the agenda together at a joined stand at the leading food fair in Asia – Foodex Japan.

This year marks 25 years since Danish floral artist Nicolai Bergmann created his very first flower box—an idea that would go on to earn him international acclaim and a place in japanese hearts.

He made “tarteletter” – a moderne take on a Danish traditional dish, using the proteins from Organic Plant Protein.

At Foodex 2023, Good Food Group of Denmark will among many types of food products exhibit the leading Jakobsens honey brand as well as organic and gluten free oatmeal flakes.
