Plant Based Food Grant

In 2024 the Plant-based Food Grant co-financed our export endavours bringing organic companies to Asia’ largest B2B food fair. The purpose of the project is to create an enterance for Danish companies that produce processed organic plant-based foods to Japanese markets by pushing the agenda together at a joined stand at the leading food fair in Asia – Foodex Japan. Through symposia, demonstrations and tastings, the project aims to inspire Asian buyers and customers to use the products, while at the same time passing on knowledge to Asian customers, inspiring and increasing demand for Danish-produced processed plant products. The purpose of the Plant-Based Food Grant is to contribute to the development of the plant-based food sector. The Grant is part of the Agreement on the Green Transition of Danish Agriculture from 2021 and was adopted as law on February 23, 2023, by all political parties in the Danish Parliament (Folketinget). In 2023, the Grant was allocated 675 million DKK from 2023 to 2030. The purpose of the Grant is to ensure Denmark’s leading position in the production and development of plant-based foods—and to ensure that many more of these foods end up on the plates of Danish consumers. We are proud to help contributing to this agenda and look forward to future collaborations!
